The M.Sc. program accepts holders of a bachelor's degree from Greek universities or equivalent institutions abroad according to the provisions of Law 4957/2022.
The M.Sc. program is open to graduates from various scientific fields.

Part-time enrollment is offered for 4 to 6 semesters. The maximum allowed duration of enrollment is 4 years.
Your enrollment follows the same procedure as full-time students, where the minimum duration of enrollment is 3 semesters.
However, in case you have multiple obligations, you can choose the courses you will attend each semester with the obligation to successfully complete the attendance and examination requirements, as well as the completion and examination of the thesis within a maximum of 8 semesters from the first enrollment.
The Secretariat of the MSc is located on the second floor, Office 208, of the main building of the University of Piraeus. The Central Secretariat of the Department is located at Zeas 80-82 street, within the University of Piraeus campus.
By submitting an application for the suspension of enrollment to the Secretariat of the Postgraduate Program at the beginning of each academic semester. The relevant application is available on the Department's website under the "Studies" → "Secretariat Forms" section.
A student can request a suspension of enrollment for no more than the minimum number of semesters required to obtain the degree, unless the suspension is due to proven health reasons or force majeure.
During the period of suspension of studies, the student's Academic ID Card will be deposited at the Department's Secretariat.

There are five (5) compulsory courses per semester and per specialization. To obtain the degree, you must attend and successfully pass the ten (10) compulsory courses of the Postgraduate Program, as well as successfully complete the diploma thesis. All areas of the University are covered by a free Wi-Fi network called "unipi." You can connect to this network using either a laptop or your mobile device. For the Nikaia facilities, you need to connect to the network using the password provided during your registration.
The use of the Academic ID to prove the identity of students in academic procedures, such as participating in exams, is valid until their graduation from the Department.
However, the validity of the Ticket for student transportation, entitling them to the discounts provided by the current legislation, lasts as long as the semesters of study.
Any interruption of student status (suspension, expulsion) automatically implies the cessation of the right to hold the Academic ID, which in this case must be returned to the Department's Secretariat.
The MSc program awards partial scholarships to postgraduate students with the highest performance in their respective fields.
To be awarded the Master's Degree (M.Sc.), you are required to attend classes for two academic semesters and complete a master's thesis. During the first two semesters, successful completion of the five compulsory specialization courses is required for all specializations. The third semester is dedicated to the preparation of the master's thesis. Upon successful completion of the M.Sc. program, you will be granted a Master's Degree with 90 European Credit Transfer and Accumulation System (ECTS) credits.

- • The fee for printing the graduation parchment, which accompanies the graduation declaration request, should be submitted to the Secretary's Office upon collecting the certificates.
- • The fee is issued by the University of Piraeus Accounting Office (80 Karolou & Dimitriou Street, 4th floor). Specifically, a little before the scheduled appointment at the Secretary's Office to collect the certificates, the student should visit the Accounting Office for the fee issuance. No separate appointment is required for this purpose.
- • The Reception Area, where the material handling area, closed collections, rare collections, and computers for searching the catalog and information sources are located.
- • The Bookstacks, where the entire print collection of the library, photocopying machine, and computers for readers are housed.
- • The Reading Room, where dictionaries, display cases with the latest issues of print journals, and other informational materials are available.
