Educational Visit of the Postgraduate Program "Digital Culture, Smart Cities, IoT, and Advanced Digital Technologies" to INTRASOFT International.

INTRASOFT INTERNATIONAL BUSINESS DAY | May 14, 2019

As part of its strategy for extroversion and labor market connectivity, the MSc program "Digital Culture, Smart Cities, IoT, and Advanced Digital Technologies" conducted an educational visit to the INTRASOFT International facilities in Paiania on Tuesday, May 14, 2019, during the "INTRASOFT International Business Day."

The initiative was organized to provide students with direct contact with the modern business and technological environment, offering a comprehensive overview of career paths within the Information and Communications Technology (ICT) sector.

During the visit, company executives presented:

  • The role and structure of a modern international technology firm.

  • The various professional specializations in software development and project management.

  • The IT project life cycle and the core principles of Project Management.

  • Application examples in sectors such as e-Government Services and software product development.

Particular emphasis was placed on the interactive workshop session “Build the next INTRAproject,” where students actively participated in a project development simulation, cultivating skills in collaboration, problem-solving, and innovative thinking.

The visit concluded with a discussion on employment prospects in the technology industry, highlighting the importance of linking academic knowledge with real-world business practice.

This action is part of the Master’s program's broader design to enhance experiential learning, support students' professional preparation, and develop meaningful partnerships with leading market organizations.
