On Tuesday, January 10, 2023 and time 18:00 - 21:00, the guests of the MSc "Digital Culture, Smart Cities, IoT and Advanced Digital Technologies", of the Department of Informatics of the University of Piraeus, are Mr. Kousouni Afroditis, Lawyer, ADAE and Anagnostopoulou Biki, Managing Director, B2square.

Brief Biography for Ms. Kousounis

Aphrodite Kousounis is a lawyer at the Areio Pago, a graduate of the Faculty of Law of EKPA with postgraduate studies in Public Law and a doctorate in Mass Media Law from the University of Tübingen, Germany.

He has worked as a lawyer for a number of years and since 2009 he has been a lawyer at the Communications Privacy Authority (ADAE), where he mainly deals with IT and Electronic Communications Law issues, but also Privacy in general.

He is a member of the Association for the Protection of Personal Data and Privacy and has published numerous studies regarding issues related to modern technologies, but also more general issues of constitutional law.

Brief Biography for Ms. Anagnostopoulou

Biki Anagnostopoulou studied History, Archeology and Social Anthropology at the University of Thessaly following the direction of History and Social Anthropology. He then did a master's degree in Historical Paleontology at the Kapodistrian University. He worked for 10 years in the area of the magazine press.

During these years, she was editor and then editor-in-chief of the scientific editions of National Geographic Greece alongside the late director of the magazine, professor and Rector of the University of the Aegean, Nikos Margaris. At the same time he wrote articles for magazines and websites on the topic of culture.

The constant search and change of content creation data with the advent of the digital world prompted her to pursue a master's degree in online marketing and content creation in the digital world. Somewhere there, my collaboration with the European Parliament began, serving as the press office, consultant but taking care of their online image at every level for Greek MEPs.

Then the marriage of her theoretical studies with her new digital skills enabled her to create a company called B2Square that deals with the digital and analog production of content for business fields related to people and the culture that surrounds them.

The B2square company collaborates with the European Parliament, with the Bodosaki Foundation for campaigns such as Combating Gender-Based Violence, the Mental Health Organization EPAPSY, with major artistic production companies but. At the same time, she conducts a permanent anthropological research through a culture website that she has created and deals with the rescue of the oral tradition which, through the new digital tools, can be left as a legacy for future generations.
