Participation of the MSc Program and UNESCO Chair in Researchers' Night 2024

On Friday, September 27, 2024, the MSc Program "Digital Culture, Smart Cities, IoT, and Advanced Digital Technologies" of the Department of Informatics at the University of Piraeus participated once again in Researchers' Night, held at the National Technical University of Athens (NTUA).

The MSc’s presence at this annual European event is part of its strategic commitment to outreach and the dissemination of research to the general public, highlighting the work being done in the fields of Digital Culture, Smart Cities, IoT, and Advanced Digital Technologies.

The participation was organized in collaboration with the UNESCO Chair “Creative Cities in Motion,” further strengthening the link between research, innovation, sustainable urban development, and society.

Throughout the event, members of the MSc program and the UNESCO Chair had the opportunity to present their initiatives and research projects, engage with visitors of all ages, and develop new collaborations with academic and research institutions.

This year’s participation concluded with a highly positive impact, reaffirming the dynamic presence of both the MSc Program and the UNESCO Chair within the research and innovation ecosystem.
