As part of the course Sustainable Cultural Development and ESG for Digital Cities, of the Master's Degree in Digital Culture, Smart Cities, IoT & Advanced Technologies, we are honored to host Ms. Matina Irini Alevizou, PhD Candidate and Digital Culture Development Advisor. Her talk, titled "From Digital Culture to ESG-by-design", gives us a new perspective on how culture ceases to be just content and becomes a critical infrastructure for Smart Cities.

Matina Irini Alevizou is a senior student in the postgraduate program "Digital Culture-Smart Cities-IOT and Advanced Digital Technologies" while also working as a Digital Culture Development Consultant. She has also studied Music, Applied Arts, History of Greek Culture, and Administration of Cultural Units. She has worked in theater, exhibition setting and curation, scenography, tour guidance, and museum pedagogy. She has worked in cultural and sports organizations (museums, cultural centers, art workshops) in various positions of responsibility and responsibility. Today, as a Consultant and PhD candidate in Digital Culture Development, she collaborates with cutting-edge technology companies on issues of Digitization of Historical and Cultural Content Collections, Cultural Organization Repositories, Cultural Content Software Development, and Consulting in the field of Culture for the private and public sectors.
