Evangelos Symeon Angelopoulos is an Electrical Engineer and has received the diploma of Electrical Engineer & Mech. Computer from the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki in 2000. In 2006 he successfully defended his Doctoral Thesis from the National Technical University of Athens and the School of Electrical and Mechanical Engineering. PC. His PhD thesis concerned the study and implementation of multiband printed antennas for telecommunication applications.

Since June 2017, through a scholarship from the Niarchos Foundation, he has been carrying out industrial research at the Institute of Nanoscience and Nanotechnology of EKEFE Demokritos on low-cost exponential NB-IoT technology sensors for the quantitative and qualitative characterization of oil.

He is the founder of the company Fuelics, a high-tech company based in Greece and whose object is the production of sensors for the management of fuel tanks and sensors for Smart Cities.
