Speech on "Archaeological Land Registry: the digital recording and documentation of the Monuments and Archaeological Sites of the country"

On Tuesday, May 15, 2018 from 18:30 – 21:00 in room 108, of the Central Building of the University of Piraeus (Karaoli & Dimitriou 80, Piraeus), we invite the undergraduate and postgraduate students of the Department of Informatics to the lecture of Mrs. Christina Romanou , Archaeologist, and Mr. Nikolaos Syrri, IT Engineer, Directorate for the Management of the National Archive of Monuments, Department of the Management of the National Archive of Monuments and Archaeological Cadastre, YPPOA, on the topic "Archaeological Cadastre: the digital recording and documentation of the country's Monuments and Archaeological Sites", which will be held at framework of the "Digital Culture" direction, of the "Advanced Informatics Systems" Program, of the Department of Informatics of the University of Piraeus.

The "Archaeological Land Registry" project aspires to be the first organized, unified, systematic and continuously updated digital recording and documentation of Public Properties managed by the Ministry of Culture, Education and Religion, as well as monuments, archaeological sites and historical sites, mapping the status of their protection which governs the entire territory.
