Visit of Professor Dimitrios D. Vergados to the Sparta Music School on Friday 02/07/2020
A visit to the Sparta Music School will be made on Friday, February 7, 2020 at 12:00 p.m., by Professor Dimitrios D. Vergados, Director of the Laboratory and the MSc Program "Digital Culture, Smart Cities, IoT and Advanced Digital Technologies" of the University of Piraeus, in order to thank the students and teachers of the school for their participation in the Announcing Ceremony of His Eminence the Metropolitan of Monemvasia and Sparta etc. Efstathiou as an Honorary Doctor of the University of Piraeus.
The Most Reverend Metropolitan of Monemvasia and Sparta, Mr. Efstathios was named after the proposal of Prof. D.D. Vergadou, honorary Doctorate of the University of Piraeus on November 22, 2019, at the Stavros Niarchos Foundation Cultural Center, with the kind Donation of the Stavros Niarchos Foundation (SNF), in the presence of His Beatitude the Archbishop Mgr. Ieronymos, Metropolitans, SNF representatives, officials, professors and a crowd of people.
As part of the visit to the Sparta Music School, Professor Dimitrios D. Vergados will give a lecture entitled: "Digital Culture and Smart Cities in the Modern Digital Age".
