Γιάννης Λιάπης, IT Solution Sales Manager, Huawei Τεχνολογίες ΑΕ – Ελλάδα/Κύπρος. ΘέμαΟμιλίας: " Digital Transformation with Advanced Technologies – The Smart Cities of the Future.”

Η διάλεξη θα πραγματοποιηθεί για τους φοιτητές του ΠΜΣ μέσω διαδικτύου, και στο πλαίσιο του Μαθήματος «Διακυβέρνηση της Πληροφορίας και Συμμόρφωση / Επιχειρηματικότητα - Διοίκηση Έξυπνων Πόλεων» των κατευθύνσεων «Έξυπνες Πόλεις και Προηγμένες Ψηφιακές Τεχνολογίες» και «Διαδίκτυο των Πραγμάτων (IoT) και Προηγμένες Ψηφιακές Τεχνολογίες» και του Μαθήματος «Προηγμένα Μέσα και Εφαρμογές στην Πολιτιστική Κληρονομιά και το Σύγχρονο Πολιτισμό» της κατεύθυνσης «Ψηφιακός Πολιτισμός».

«Digital Transformation with Advanced Technologies» will refer to Digital transformation and whatever involves using advanced technologies for businesses to become more efficient or effective. How Huawei sees the use of technology not only replicate existing one with new, but the way to transform the “way of doing” into a service that is significantly better. Digital transformation involves many different technologies but the hottest topics right now are: Cloud, IoT, Big Data, and AI. A Digital Transformation project involves rethinking of business models and processes, and not enhancing traditional methods. Digitalization is not new technology systems and services. Digital transformation is to create something new: improve customer experience (new Cloud services), provide insights from data to create new products.

Mr. Yannis Liapis is Senior Sales Manager with 20+ years of IT experience and demonstrated expertise in the Telecommunications industry.

Started with SW engineering, HW sales and Proposal management, to specialized the last 5 years on Cross-Domain Sales and Solution Designs.

Achievements and breakthrough in IT and Cloud technologies projects, plus Private & Hybrid Cloud in Telecommunications sector.

Workshop, summit and exhibition speaker, high level CxO dialogue, deep dive training, pre/post bidding phases engagements, tenders and projects implementations' key team member.
