Gabriel Mavrellis is an experienced executive manager and entrepreneur with a extensive background in the field of Geoinformatics. He strongly advocates for the establishment of open standards, the initiatives of the free software community, and the idea of data and knowledge sharing.

He possesses significant expertise in strategic planning and implementation of business plans, as well as in the redesign of operational workflows aimed at improving profitability. Gabriel has skills in strategy and implementation, goal setting and profit achievement, management, leadership development, and international entrepreneurship. He also possesses substantial technical knowledge in the areas of Geoinformatics, Open Data, Business Intelligence, Environment, Remote Sensing, and data collection for Digital Twins.

He holds a degree in Engineering from the National Technical University of Athens (NTUA), specializing in Business Administration from the Henley Business School.
