On Wednesday 04/10/2023, Professor Dimitrios D. Vergados made an invited speech in the context of the “84th Session of Committee on Urban Development, Housing and Land Management”, United Nations (UN), Geneva. The speech was entitled "Digital Transformation and Security – Challenges for Smart Sustainable and Creative Cities". An important presence, but also an excellent honor for the M.Sc. Programme "Digital Culture, Smart Cities, IoT and Advanced Digital Technologies", University of Piraeus, Greece and the UNESCO Chair: "Creative Cities in Motion: Urban Sustainable Mobility and Utilization of Cultural Resources" of the United Nations Economic Commission for Europe (UNECE) for the invitation, as well as the partners and members of the research team of the UNESCO Headquarters.
