"Digital Transformation with Advanced Technologies" will refer to Digital transformation and whatever involves using advanced technologies for businesses to become more efficient or effective. How Huawei sees the use of technology not only replicate existing one with new, but the way to transform the "way of doing" into a service that is significantly better. Digital transformation involves many different technologies but the hottest topics right now are: Cloud, IoT, Big Data, and AI. A Digital Transformation project involves rethinking of business models and processes, and not enhancing traditional methods. Digitization is not new technology systems and services. Digital transformation is to create something new: improve customer experience (new Cloud services), provide insights from data to create new products.

Mr. Liapis has twenty years of experience in the IT industry. From 2015 until today he holds the position of Solution Sales Manager Cloud & AI at Huawei Technologies SA, and is responsible for promoting the company's competitive end-to-end portfolio of Information Technology & Communications (ICT) Solutions to telecommunications providers , but also in businesses - in the private, but also in the wider public sector - with the aim of their digital transformation. In the past, Mr. Liapis had worked in the largest IT companies such as Microsoft and IBM, having been product manager, software engineer, Pre-Sales, Sales and offer/proposal manager. Mr. Liapis holds a "Computer Science" degree from Southeastern American College, an MBA from Henley and a "PM Curriculum" from Dublin College.
